Together, Leading Sheep and MeatUp bring you an event addressing key priorities for wool, goat and sheep-meat businesses.

Where: Venue Longreach Civic and Cultural Centre, 96a Eagle Street, Longreach

Time: Forum 8 am to 5 pm, Dinner from 6.30pm

Cost: Forum $25 for MLA members, $50 for non-members. Dinner, additional $50 per person.

Meat & Livestock Australia’s MeatUp Forums provide an opportunity for beef, sheep and goat producers to learn something new, stay up to date with the latest on-farm research and technology and meet with others working in the red meat industry.

Leading Sheep is an important partnership between the Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) and the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries, Queensland (DAF) and is a proactive network of Queensland sheep and wool businesses; at the forefront of practical and relevant information and technology to equip progressive and thriving producers for the future.

COVID-19 requirements

This event will be a COVID-19 safe event, therefore all participants must comply with Queensland Government requirements to be double vaccinated to attend, and mask wearing is mandatory.

Leading Sheep MeatUp Forum Dinner

The Leading Sheep North and Central Regional Committee welcomes all attendees to make a day of it by joining us for a two-course dinner and drinks, and to socialise with attendees and speakers. During the dinner, guest speaker, Dennis Hoiberg (Lessons Learnt Consulting) will entertain you with his practical tips to thrive through change.
